Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has formally submitted a bid to the United Nations General Assembly for recognition of Palestine as the 194th member state. He declared in his address to the assembly, "I come before you today from the Holy Land, the Land of Palestine, the land of divine messages, ascension of the Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, and the birthplace of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him."
His statement has one religious undertone that has claimed thousands of lives since the Palestinians rejected the Partition Plan to create two states -- Israel and Palestine -- in 1947. Many suicide bombers have killed scores of people and Israeli retaliations have cost many more innocent lives. To many Palestinians and Muslims around the world the land is important to them because they believe it is the land of the "ascension of the Prophet Mohammed." Is it true?
The Quran -- Islam’s holy book and the highest authority -- states in Chapter 17, Verse 1, "Glory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque." According to this verse, Muslims believe Prophet Muhammad ascended from "the Sacred Mosque" in Jerusalem. The same chapter of the Quran, Verse 60, claims Prophet Muhammad had a mere vision of the ascension. In fact...

I just their problems are bigger than the fight of space or land. They view the prophet muhammad as being higher than Jesus Christ. I believe different.

"(...) of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him."
When you see a false religion, you need not to detect it through much talks, but a mere word or expression can suffice. For he calls peace upon Mohamed, the only one mediator between God and the faithfull Muslims, he has found himself in the true or right way doing the same for Jesus and why not for Moses.
For them, as Judaism, Christianism and Islam are called the three (3) great monotheistic religions which faithful believers trust in only one God.
If he invokes peace on Mohamed, mediator between God and the Muslims, and on Moses, mediator between God and the Hebrew people, he could logically do the same thing for Jesus, a supposed mediator between God and the Christians (different from God and from Christian believers).
That is basically false, Jesus is not a mere mediator that Moses or Mohamed might or may be. But, Jesus is Ummediatorunique (lat. unus, "one, one only", Mediator, "Mediator", unius, "of one only", genitive of unus, "one only"), that is to say, He who is both only one Mediator and Mediator of only one. Galatians 3:20
Jesus is God Himself, He who put Himself between Himself, the Creator and all His creatures we are.
President Abbas should not call peace upon God. God is Almighty, He cannot be tempted by any trial, He does not need to be saved, the everlasting peace.
Mohamed is a sinner who wonders whether he will be saved, it’s why his followers, first of all, call the Peace of Jesus, the Holder’s own to the rescue of their so-called mediator.
As a proof, the Bible talks about the third (3rd) Heaven, and Mohamed, to seduce people talks about the seventh (7th) heaven.
Do you see? Could you separate right now what is wrong from that is True?
Thank you.
