Ah! The beauty of simplicity.  It’s like a cold glass of water in the desert of a wicked and perverse generation, amidst the theological and cultural wordmass.

God is love.  How much more do we need to know.

I agree completely. And daily I am amazed at all of GOD’s creation, all of the little things I keep re-falling in love with; cloud formations, sunrises, sunsets, fall leaves & much more... To me, these are signs of love from Him to us, as though sign for us to take time to ’smell the roses’ and to teach us to be more mindful of all things He Has touched His paint brush with.

God is love.  What a simple statement with deep implications.  Love is a word that is often thrown around these days and I feel that it is not always fully understood.  I am guilty of not really grasping God’s love for me at times.  When I make mistakes, I sometimes fear that God now loves me a little less because of it.  I had struggles of unworthiness but love is not able earning it, but it is given.  God’s love is unconditional and it is greater than any barrier we think is there. 
JoanieD, I love the way you portrayed God as a painter.  Painters take time and pour themselves into their art work, which is in essence parallels our creation.  Men and women were made in the image of
God.  All of us have the divine spark that longs to connect with God.  We desire to feel needed and to be where we belong.  People all over the world of different backgrounds and religions have a need to know about God and his love for them.  Because we are disciples of Jesus
Christ we ideally have a greater understanding of love and we are called to show that love to the world.  Displaying that love manifests itself in many ways, but it should all lead the person to a greater thirst and hunger for God who is the source of love.

God is love and thats all we need is His love. for it is that love that covers a multitude of sin.Oh how i love GOD
